Claw slowly opens with load progression. The percent follows the right side of the progress bar. The background slowly fades in along with the progression.
Video background is full-screen, fades in. Top left corner shows stats on current video playing (could be XML driven). Layout is liquid so nav and logo stay in the corners and background resizes.
Example of nav rollover. Nav blocks extend all the way accross the page. Text rollover is black with "tv static" dynamically animated with Actionscript overlayed.
Featured item has the option for up to 6 images. Clicking one opens the image in a lightbox style overlayed window. Each feature can have a video associated with it. When user clicks "watch clip" it opens (see next comp). Also option to "download" the .mov.
News item with up to 3 images (can click to a video that opens in the same style as "featured clip").
When switching between screens, the non-active member scales back and blurs. This is Sean's page.
Watching the studio Reel. When playing the background of the site would pause and the rest of the site would dim.
Design is a liquid layout optimized for a minimum of 1024 x 768. As the browser scales down, the background video is sized to fit max area and centered (so some cropped may happen when the browser is taller than wider). The nav scales down slightly and the reel scales.
Feature/News page. Contact info is at bottom. This version is slightly less blocky than the previous; perhaps a bit more elegant with the serif font. I also like the idea of slimming down the nav a bit on this one. Featured is the first item in the news feed - studio is contact/about us.
